7th Grade - We are working on writing a piece of music using the pentatonic scale. We will compose and perform our music in class. We will have a written test on THURSDAY on the notes, rests, and the basic composition of a measure. History of Jazz - We are discussing ragtime, swing, and the components of those forms of music. We will have a quiz on the vocabulary on Thursday. We will be singing some jazz tunes this week. Music Technology - We will continue working with our Loops and begin our garage band projects. Chorus Class - Students are marking their music for county and district auditions. We are working on learning this piece of music.
